TECHNICAL PROVISION IFT-011-2017: SPECIFICATIONS FOR TERMINAL EQUIPMENT – MOBILE PHONES THAT CAN USE THE RADIO-ELECTRIC SPECTRUM OR BE CONNECTED TO TELECOMMUNICATIONS NETWORKS.
IFT-011-2017 was created as a means to have all devices identified with the “International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) and maintain a complete data base (Registry) of all Mobile terminal equipment in Mexico.
If the Mobile Terminal Equipment has the functionality of “FM” from its manufacturer, the FM feature must be enabled and activated for the end user so that the consumer has free access to the FM sound broadcasting service.
